Terms of Use of Free Sanay Gabay Resources
Sanay Gabay (originally Samut-samot) allows its visitors to download various educational
resources (worksheets, activity pages, lesson sheets, reference
materials, graphic images, resources for on-screen viewing, etc.) for
personal, home, and multi-classroom use. When visitors or users download
a resource from Sanay Gabay, it is understood that they agree to abide
by the Terms of Use indicated below.
Why have Terms of Use? The artists given credit in
the blog posts or Credits page in the resources own the copyrights to the clip art images
and/or fonts in the resource. The owner of Sanay Gabay and Samut-samot has agreed to
abide by their Terms of Use. Violation of the Terms of Use below is also
an infringement of their copyrights.
In the Terms of Use below, the term resource refers to the
digital versions of the educational resources that have been downloaded from the original blog Samut-samot or the current blog Sanay Gabay.
Copyrights
Users are not granted copyrights. Unless otherwise stated, the
text in the resource remains the intellectual property of the owner of
Samut-samot and Sanay Gabay. Where applicable, the clip art images and fonts
used in the resource remain the intellectual property of the artists
indicated in the blog post or Credits page of the resource.
If
there is no Credit page in the resource, it is understood that the owner
of Samut-samot and Sanay Gabay owns the copyright to the text and images in it.
Some
images in a resource may be public domain. In such cases, no
attribution is required and commercial use by Samut-samot and Sanay Gabay is allowed.
Users who download the resource
may not edit the pages of the resource by adding or removing text, adding logos,
trademarks, business/school/institution names, website addresses, or
any other marking.Non-commercial Use
Users may not resell the resource, copy or alter it, and claim
it as their own, or use it to create derivative works which would
infringe on intellectual copyrights.
Users of the resource are
permitted to print (unless stated otherwise) and photocopy its pages for
personal use, home use, multi-classroom use, or use in educational
environments with the condition that the website address
and/or copyright mark and/or name are not cropped,
covered, removed, or modified.
COMMERCIAL USE IS NOT ALLOWED. Users of the resource may not
sell it, its printed pages or pages reproduced from photocopying or
other processes for profit or for any commercial use.
MASS DISTRIBUTION IS NOT ALLOWED. Users of the resource may not distribute printed
pages or pages reproduced from photocopying as part of modules or
workbooks that will be sold or distributed for free and brought outside
the classroom, tutorial center, or teaching area. However,
students or tutees and their parents may take home completed (answered)
resource pages.
Sharing
Users of the resource are granted a single and nontransferable
license to use it. They are prohibited from giving it or a digital copy
of it to someone else for free, for sale, or for any commercial purpose.
This prohibition includes, but is not limited to, electronic file
transfers such as email attachments or sharing through a website, cloud,
or network. Please provide a link to the website post instead.
Users
of the resource are prohibited from uploading it or any part of it onto
any other website such as, but not limited to, Scribd, SlideShare, or
any cloud storage or file sharing sites, such as Google Drive and Dropbox, where third parties who are not their students can
download the product. The artists given credit in the blog posts or
Credits page own the copyrights to the clip art images and/or fonts in
the resource. Uploading the resource or any part of it in another
website is also an infringement of their copyrights.
Sharing thru Online Classrooms for Teachers and Tutors
If you are a teacher or tutor conducting limited online classes, you may distribute the digital resource through email or the learning management system (LMS) you are using such as Google Classroom, as long as the parents or guardians know that the resources cannot be distributed or sold to others or used for commercial purposes. Alternatively, you can share with them the direct link to the resource where they can download it themselves.
If answer keys are provided in the same file, you may use sites that can extract pages from a PDF file, such as smallpdf.com.
If you are a teacher or tutor who wish to record videos of your lessons using the resources meant for on-screen viewing or show printable resources during your online class, you may do so as long as the video and video recording will only be accessed and viewed by your students and/or their parents. It should not be uploaded on the internet where it can accessed or viewed by the public. Storing
Users of the resource may copy and store this product in another
device that is theirs for personal and private use. A third party must
not be able to access the resource.
For paid resources,
Sanay Gabay and Samut-samot cannot be held responsible for the
loss, accidental deletion, or damage of the product after its initial
receipt through email.
Other Concerns
Questions regarding the allowable use of the resources from this
website should be emailed to sanaygabay (@) gmail.com or samutsamot.mom (@) gmail.com. Unauthorized
use of the resource may give rise to a claim for damages and/or be a
criminal offense.
